Sydney MacQuilken Art 210

This project is tied into Project 11. We took that project and added sound to it by using garage band. I added a quaint song in the background along with birds chirping and footsteps.

For this project I took a bunch of photos of my dog and made them form into a short movie. We used Photoshop to complete this project.

This project was our first project using video. We took a photo from our childhood and progressed it into a photo of us today using photoshop.

For this project we chose a famous piece of art to place our face onto. I chose to place my face onto the Monalisa. We used photoshop and played around with the color and shape of our face to make it seem realistic.

For this project we used photoshop to place ourselves into a place we want to go. I took a photo of myself and placed it in Australia. I changed the color and lighting to make it seem like I really took a photo of myself in Australia.

This project was the first project we used photoshop. I chose eight pictures and used photoshop to edit them. Each picture has been edited a little differently to make them look cool. In some cases I changed the color or even distorted the image.

We used illustrator to complete this project. We chose a poster and outlined it to make it our own. I am a fan of Harry Potter so I chose to outline a photo of Harry and Voldemort in the woods. Some of the smaller details such as shadows were very hard to execute but having used illustrator before made it easier.

For this project we chose a picture of a fruit and replicated it using illustrator. I chose a cherry. The most difficult part of this project was showing the little blemishes on the fruit and truly making it look real.

Project 4 was designing a business card. We put our logos from project 3 onto the cards and created our own businesses. I made the cards colorful and inviting and included my business name along with my info.

For project 3 we used illustrator to create logos we eventually put onto business cards. We found images on Google that we would want to incorporate onto our cards. I chose to make a sun and butterfly logo.

For this project we chose an animal and outlined it in words. I chose the image of a camel because camels are cool and fun animals and not an average choice. I outlined the image in a poem relating to camels in the desert. I decided to make the words a light orange color to follow along with the desert fun feel.

Our first project in my opinion was the most difficult. We used an HTML program to create the image. The HTML program was hard because we had to use numbers and maintain focus throughout the entire project. My image depicts a grassy area with a building. There is a tree, the sun and a bird.
